Waikowhai Intermediate visit

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog! I have exiting news to share, so I'm a year six and next year I'm going to Waikowhai Intermediate. I'm really nervous because I'm not good at making new friends.  when we got there we were told what class we were in. And thankfully I was with a lot of people in Waikowhai Primary. My teachers name is Mr Swan. My class is room 15, then we were told that we could take a seat. I sat at one table with my two friends and then three other people from Waikowhai Primary sat across from us. So we had a full table of Waikowhai Primary kids. There were two I pads and six pencils also six sheets. We had some students make a video for us, and in the video it told us what sports we could do,                      (there were a lot) also more things like uniforms and what they do daily. when the video was over Mr Swan explained to us that we need to go on the I pad, and as soon as we open the I pad it should put us on a 3D place of the school. this helped  us get use to the school. The sheets of paper told us to find a certain room or find a teacher. It helped us memorise where everything was.

Mr swan has two big inflatable burritos and something they do for fun in the class is they can grab the burrito anytime and trow it at a class mate or the teacher. I don't think there allowed out side of the class room. That all we did, thank you for reading my blog! Blog ya later!

Skateboarding lessons

 Ciao everyone,
Earlier this morning we did skateboarding lesson 1, we started off by learning how to put a helmet on. Then started riding around and getting use to our boards. I found out that I was pretty good at it, I learnt how to tick tack and turn. It took a while for me to get use to tick tacks but I got there. Our coach told us to start off with our shoe covering the skews, and then use our other foot to push. When your comfortable with the speed you going then turn your feet to face sideways. We are going to do another lesson after lunch and we are looking forward to it. This was just my second time ever riding a skateboard. At the end of the day I did learn some new stuff, and I think I got a little better. Also I really want a skateboard for Xmas!

Jasmain and Aladin 2020 production

Hola everyone, last week  on November Wednesday 4th, Thursday 5th, and Friday 6th, Waikowhai Primary had production, and it was based on Aladdin. We renamed it to Jasmine and Aladdin. Also its not exactly like the movie its really different, like instead of having a pet monkey we've switched it up to a pet cat.

The production was about Jasmine wanting to travel, but her parents didn't agree, they thought she should learn how to become the future queen even though she has been training for twenty years. So Jasmine finds friends. One of her friends Aladdin found a way to travel... If you would like to hear and see the rest we have the video up at the office.

For Wednesday we started production at 7:00pm we had nine scenes an it took two hours, we were exhausted. On Thursday 5th we started and ended at the same time. But on Friday 6th we stared on 11:00am and ended at 1:30pm. Finally we had a weekend to rest.

This took us 13 weeks to learn the production, and for the rehearsal we needed to stay in after school. And some of them were even on google meets, but thank you to the people who made this happen! The dances in between were stunning!

There is a video you can get of the production at the school office, or a photos. They allow you to chose ether if you want the video to come in a USB or a CD or in the year book. Thank you for reading my blog, blog ya later!
